MATCHA GIN TONIC
We love our OG matcha latte recipe, but the other day we found ourselves out and about and wanted a quick-me-up without the next day is ruined' consequence. So, that inspired us to mix the stable energy powers of matcha with one of the late night classics. Introducing the Gin and Tonic that just returned from a serene retreat in the lushest forest in Japan.
Ingredients
- 1.5 tsp of Piohní Ceremonial Matcha
- 4 cl Gin
- 10 cl Tonic
- Ice cubes
- Garnish — Cucumber or lime
- Equipment — Mixer
Direction
1. Whisk Piohní matcha and gin together. Use a shaker if to avoid using your chawan bowl 茶碗 and whisk with the gin.
2. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
3. Top with tonic water and stir gently.
4. Pour the matcha and gin mix over the tonic water nice and slow. If you aim for the ice cubes and pour slowly, the ombre effect will turn out better.
4. Garnish with lime wheels.
